My name is Elizabeth, but please don’t panic — everyone calls me Elly, and I strongly recommend you do the same. It’s shorter, friendlier, and saves us all valuable time that could be spent thinking about music or life in general. I’m the kind of person who can be quiet and thoughtful one moment, and then suddenly start overanalyzing a song, a conversation, or a random thought at 2 a.m. I consider this a talent, not a problem. From the outside, I might look calm, but inside my head there’s usually a playlist playing, a theory forming, and at least one unnecessary question about human behavior. I like to think of myself as a perfectly balanced mix of creativity, curiosity, and mild chaos — the good kind, of course.
Yes, psychology is another thing I truly love, maybe a little too much. I enjoy observing people, analyzing emotions, and trying to understand why humans do the strange things they do — including myself. Sometimes I catch myself psychoanalyzing characters in movies, random strangers, or even my own reaction to coffee. I don’t judge; I’m just curious. Psychology helps me understand feelings, motivations, and the invisible mechanisms behind behavior. It’s like reading a very complex instruction manual for the human mind, except the manual is incomplete and constantly changing. Naturally, this makes life more confusing… but also much more interesting and entertaining.
One of my favorite things in the world is making music, especially writing beats. There is something magical about turning silence into rhythm and emotions into sound. Sometimes I start with a simple beat, and suddenly I’m emotionally attached to it and feel the need to perfect every detail. I can spend hours adjusting tiny elements that most people would never notice, but I will notice — and that’s what matters. Music, for me, is not just sound; it’s a language. A language where I don’t have to explain myself too much, because the beat already knows what I mean. Also, let’s be honest, making music is cheaper than therapy… although I’m interested in that too.
The funny thing is that music and psychology are not that different. Both are about emotions, patterns, and connection. A good beat can change your mood, just like a good conversation can. Sometimes I feel like my music is secretly influenced by everything I learn about the human mind — all the tension, release, rhythm, and emotion. Other times, I just make beats because it feels good and my brain demands it. I’ve learned to accept that inspiration doesn’t follow rules, schedules, or logic. It usually shows up when I least expect it, and leaves when I finally have time. Very polite of it.
So that’s me — Elly. A person who loves music, enjoys psychology, and laughs at her own thoughts more often than she probably should. I believe life doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful. Sometimes the best ideas come from jokes, curiosity, and a little bit of chaos. I’m always learning, experimenting, and trying to understand both sound and people better. And if I ever seem lost in thought, don’t worry — I’m probably just working on a beat, analyzing a feeling, or doing both at the same time. Honestly, it’s hard to tell the difference anymore.
